*Swatches Without Flash*

First, I would like to say WELCOME to my new & improved blog, Iv had this account for quite a while but I have never used it to the best of my abilities. So I decided to start fresh!! :) A while back I posted a picture of this lipgloss set by: Lorac on my Instagram. I received an overwhelming amount of questions between Instagram & Twitter so I just decided to do a full on review for my first post. I haven't had this set for too long, but at this point I have used all of the colors so I feel like I can give you a pretty good review from my standpoint.

Probably the first thing you will notice is these are all full size! YAY! I bought all of these glosses for $25.00 (USD) + Tax. I thought that was a crazy awesome deal considering the glosses in Lorac's regular collection go for around $18.00-$22.00 a piece! So to get 6 glosses for what I paid, was a no brainer in my opinion!
*Purchased at Ulta*

Next thing you probably have noticed from the pictures, these glosses appear to be SUPER glittery. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like these for that reason alone. I own a few other glosses from Lorac. But none this glittery. When I applied this for the first time I expected it to be a glitter bomb on my lips!! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't look anything like I expected it to! (With the exception of one color - "Frosted Gumdrop" which is the hot pink.) They apply very smooth and in my opinion feel very nice on the lips. One of the biggest complaints I have heard about this set is that to some people, the glitter feels gritty on the lips. I will agree, if you wear it alone you can definitely feel the glitter. However, to me this is no where near a deal breaker. BUT - this is coming from someone who will wear even this stickiest of glosses & still love it. With this complaint, it is all going to come down to personal preference, but I barely notice this at all. Especially if your wearing the gloss over a lipstick or lip balm as a base.

If I had one complaint it would be this. The brush. It's not a dough foot applicator, nor is it a full on lip brush. It is a very short "stumpy" lip brush. It is a little too stiff for my liking. I feel like if it was like a normal lipgloss brush applicator, this set would be perfect. Sometimes the gloss can initially apply a bit streaky because the brush is so small.

The final thing I wanted to mention, which I thought was a super clever idea. Each gloss smells like the name of the color!! I thought this was a super cute touch that really brought the whole set together.
(All the names of the colors are listed under the swatch pictures!)

So, to sum it all up im going to list the Pros & the Cons below!! :)

- PROS -
NOT Sticky at all
Smells Great
No Taste
Very Pigmented
Long Lasting
Hydrating
Adds shine, but not too much!
Price of the set

- Cons -

Glitter can have a slight gritty feeling if worn by itself

Thanks for taking the time to read! If you have any questions or comments please leave them below! Also, if you have had the chance to try this set for yourself, I would love to know your opinion! :)
